Migrants continued to come in with a House Martin on the 3rd and a Redstart at MGT on the 11th ~ a Reed Warbler at WLF on the 11th is possibly the earliest ever for the Flashes ~ the first Yellow Wagtail was at MGT on the 11th followed by a Whinchat on the 15th ~a Lesser Whitethroat was at EHF on the 15th and a Willow Warbler at WLF on the 17th ~ the first Whitethroat was at FFF on the 17th and a Sedge Warbler was at GF on the 19th ~ Grasshopper Warblers were at Basford on the 15th, Weston on the 23rd and MGT on the 29th ~ the first Swifts were over Sandbach on the 26th ~ 2 Ravens were over Sandbach on the 13th and 2 over EHF on the 21st

SECOS ... certainly not secret otherwise why would it be reported at all. By the way the bird was still there today but please observe the private land that surrounds the pool.

I don't think that any little owls are showing on Clay Lane at the moment and I am not aware of any tawny owls .Colin
