Adult seen close to nest box 4 & owl box 5 – NW corner of Quakers Coppice, 10:00 am this morning, while we were doing the nest box survey. It could have been ‘checking out’ Box 5 which has recently been fitted with a new base.
  2. Hough Mill Quarry

7:51 PM, Saturday, May 2, 2009 . Publisehd by Anonymous

Gasshopper Warbler reeling early today in an overgrown area at the old quarry. Problem is though, they seem to be levelling off the whole area, even the scrubby overgrown bits. Also a Sand Martin inspecting a sandy area and a Grenn Woodpecker.
