a ruck of escaped wildfowl at the moment with a pair of Ruddy Shelduck on Winterley Pool, Barnacle Goose and White-cheeked Pintail at Doddington and a juv Red-crested Pochard at Elton Hall Flash - but is this one a real bird ?? (i.e. wild) - who knows!!

  2. Dead Greenfinches

12:52 PM, Tuesday, August 19, 2008 . Publisehd by Peter Roberts

Over the last couple of days we have found 2 dead adult greenfinches in the garden. They were too far from the house to be window strikes. Just hope that it is not an outbreak of Trichomoniasis.

Has anyone else had the same problem?
