Other sightings ~~ a Wheatear was at Basford on the 2nd ~ 50 Goldfinches were counted at EHF on the 2nd ~ 2 Willow Tits were regular at the FF feeding station ~ Kingfishers were recorded at EHF and FF ~ 17 House Martins were over Sandbach on the 7th ~ and 2 Swallows at Wistaston on the 15th ~ 500 Redwing and 500 Fieldfare were over EHF on the 18th ~ Ravens were recorded from FF, EHF and Haslington ~ a Little Egret was at EHF on the 15th and a Chiff Chaff on the 24th ~ 2 Stonechats were on MGT on the 30th and 4 Redpoll were over Crewe Cemetery on the 30th

We saw many Redwings and Fieldfare on Fair Isle but I have not seen any locally yet. Has anybody had a local record? If so, which and when.Colin

2 Fieldfares over Haslington this morning and 20 Redwings over the Salt Line yesterday (29th)Colin
