  2. BTO Atlas 2007-2011 Winter Records

10:50 PM, Monday, November 3, 2008 . Publisehd by SECOS

The second year of recording for the BTO Atlas has just started with records needed for the winter period from 1st November to 28th February 2009.

Requirements for Timed Tetrad Visits should be covered but more Roving Records are needed.

Charles Hull the local BTO Atlas organiser has prepared lists for each 10km square of those species he would expect to be present some time during the winter but have not yet been recorded.

These are on the notice board and will also be listed on the SECOS web site. Please look at them and if you can add some of the required records – or any rarer species – put the details on the form on the notice board or send them to Colin Lythgoe. There is a map on the notice board to help you find the correct tetrad for any sightings.
