Wednesday 18 March 2009 - Gare d'Eau 18/3/09

A lovely afternoon with beer in the park next to the river. Spring is definitely getting here. Flyovers included a Peregrine, a Kestrel, a male and a female Sparrowhawk and a Black Stork. On and around the river, there were the ubiquitous Mallards, a pair of Goosander, a Heron, a few White Wagtails, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Woodpigeon and a Green Woodpecker was heard yaffling. Chaffinches have been going over the town all day in groups.
