Thursday 4 June 2009 - Your Sketches

You really do a nice job with your sketches. I tried seriously for the first time today, and it was a dismal failure. I didn't have a camera or even binoculars so I tried to do what I could to remember an unknown that I saw. I respect your work even more now..

Thanks

Thank you for the comment, sketching is not always easy, sometimes frustrating but always enjoyable and worthwhile. Even the simplest line that is brought back from the field is important, because it is your observation, and your impression of what you saw. I hope you'll keep trying sketching, it's worth doing just as an exercise in observation.

all the best
