I decided to have a quick look for Bonelli's Warblers around the Citadelle, mid-afternoon in June is perhaps not the best time to find them, and sure enough I didn't see any, nor hear any either. One or two Willow Warblers, a few Chaffinches, Blackbirds and Blackcaps were the only singers. Down by the river, presumably yesterday's Goosander still has 4 chicks, and another female has 3 chicks. Three other females and a male were loafing around in the usual spot by the roundabout. In the town, a Swift was seen coming out of a nest hole under the bridge between the CLA and Chamars, and another from a hole in the wall of the town hall.

J'ai décidé de chercher les pouillots de Bonelli vers la Citadelle, au milieu de l'après-midi en juin n'est pas peut-être le meilleur temps pour les trouver, et bien sûr, je n'en ai pas vu un seul, je ne les ai pas entendu nonplus. Un ou deux de pouillot fitis, quelques pinsons, merles et fauvettes à tête noire étaient les seuls à chanter. Vers la rivière, le harle bièvre que je suppose est le même que hier a toujours quatre poussins, et une autre femelle en a trois. Il y avait aussi trois autres femelles et un mâle allongés dans l'endroit habituel vers le rondpoint. En ville un martinet est sorti d'une cavité sous le pont entre le CLA et Chamars, et un autre est sorti d'un trou dans le mûr de la mairie.
