With friends from the UK visiting, a trip to the Forêt de Chailluz was in order to get Middle Spotted Woodpecker. Happily, one greeted us in the car park so with a lifer for the visitors straight away we could relax a bit.

In the forest there were 1 Pied Flycatcher, several Redstarts and Hawfinches, a flyover Black Kite, 3 singing Chiffchaffs, Short-toed Treecreeper and a Raven.  As for mammals, there were three Roe Deer and a Red Squirrel.

En raison de la visite de mes amis britanniques, nous sommes allés à la Forêt de Chailluz pour chercher le pic mar, heureusement, il y en avait un qui nous à accueilli dans le parking, avec le pic coché, on a pu se reposer un peu.

Dans la forêt, il y avait 1 gobemouche noir, plusieurs rougequeues à front blanc et grosbecs casse-noyaux, un milan noir, 3 chanteurs de pouillots véloces, grimperau des jardins et un grand corbeau. Quant aux mammifères, il y avait trois chevreuils et un écureuil
