A family picnic in the woods followed by a walk up to the viewpoint on the cliffs yielded not much really!
Birds were noticeably lacking (It is July after all) Flyover raptors included a Honey Buzzard, a Common Buzzard and a Sparrowhawk carrying food. In the woods, Green Woodpecker and groups of Long-tailed Tits were heard, one Marsh Tit was seen. At the cliffs, the only bird was a Woodpigeon.
There were 12 Chamois of mixed ages loafing at the bottom of the cliffs.
A few butterflies were noted, including Dryad, Scarce Swallowtail and Green-veined White - amongst other non-identified brown things!
