Bad Finnish Birdwatcher

Tuesday, November 6, 2007 - Desert Wheatear

I'm in Estonia at the moment. We came to Sõrve bird observatory - situated on the southern tip of Saarenmaa island - on Saturday. On Sunday we twitched a Desert Wheatear that had been present for about a week now. It was tame enough, so I even got a photo. Weather is windy right now, it's getting dark outside and Lauri is warming the sauna. I'll write more when I get home.

Nice thick. We are also expecting something special in Hungary before snow is coming... if coming.
