The twitchable Ring-billed Gull in Venice, NE ItalyFinally today I was able to see the Venician Ring-billed Gull Larus delawarensis once more. Thanks to Alberto and Angelo Nava for finding the bird near St. Mark square, and thanks to Luisella Fontolan for helping. The photo, courtesy of Gigi De Carlo, show the Gull having at its back the famous Redentore church, designed by the Renaissance Architect Andrea Palladio in 1577 and completed in 1592. 23:44 - Saturday, January 7, 2006 - post comment
