I just came across this online game for bird watchers, from Swarovski. Lately, I’ve been reading so many Birding blogs on Swarovski! I think they are going all out to woo bird watchers!

If you are stuck indoors and want to do a bit of bird watching, or just want to practice/test your bird identification skills, then this game is for you.

When you start it mentions the place where you will be birding and how many species there are in it.

You are then exposed to the habitat, where silhouetted images of birds appear and disappear. You the bird watcher must click on the spotted bird.

…upon which you are presented with a photo of the spotted bird and multiple choices. You then have to pick the right one in the allotted time. It is also possible to consult a “Birdbook” for help.

When you finish your days birding, you are then given an opportunity to register your high score and win a pair of Swarovski binoculars!
