species drying up for you is probably a good thing for two reasons:
a) you won't catch my irish list, and
b) you won't catch my irish list....
seeing as you have pretty much won the patch year comp, i feel happy saying that :)

November 18, 2005 - It's all about jays mate |

Aquilas me arse, ten a penny as far as Im concerned. 7 jays last week mate - fae ma windae. Other windae species include Bony's (found via ma windae), American Herring gull, Little eejit, great n diver, and pom skua. And if you include other windaes I have had in my time, olive backed pipit, storm petrel, hen harrier and barnacle goose. So shut it, ye of the opaque windaes!!!!
Was that a spotted eagle just gone past - (Owen????)
In any case, it's all aboot jays - and socks of course, you can never have enough socks. |

| I'd just like to point out that as the only true scotch fecker amongst ye, t'is only I that can actually claim to have had anything oot me windae!!! All of ye must be satisfied with the paltry amounts you've strung from your windows! Anyhoo, oot me window this week I've mostly been seeing med gulls, or did you know that already! |

Hi Col,
True, but you will notice that I referred to 'out of my window', hence not appropriating the Scottish vernacular. Perhaps I should have said 'out of me window, like'...?
Could you make one of the Kilkerran Goldeneye into a Barrow's, please? The thought of heading up north for one doesn't really excite me....
