A merlin and a 1st winter iceland gull were at Galley this morning, with 2 manx shearwaters gleaned for the year in a five minute seawatch (77).

Hi Col,
I was surprised when you told me that Manxie was a year tick, as I remembered reading about one past Galley earlier this month on this very blog, but it has since dawned on me that someone else had that...?
The candidate tristis was in full song out the Lee Road today, with a typical bird in song nearby, but no proper migrants!
