A brace of stock doves over Long Strand this lunchtime were a welcome year tick (93), especially as I can now stop looking at wood pigeons in hope!

Go out and find something?? My dear Carmo, you DO remember that this is IRELAND that we're on about here, and, as such, there probably won't be a real bird of note anywhere in the whole of Cork for a few more weeks or months...

well said H, i can't even raise me game to get out looking such is my apathy - gotta hate May! Never thought I'd say that but it never produces much hereabouts!

Cillian (oh so thats how you spell it!) was 1 on de 23rd May and didn't get so much as a bluetroat! I'll have to take him to shetland next year and sort that!
