May 27, 2007 - a mig at last!

A female marsh harrier made a brief appearance over Long Strand this afternoon, heading east with a hooded crow in attendance (94). Only the second swift of the year was hawking over Long Strand this evening.

that's more like it fella...good to see some quality birds on de galley. I'm off twitching Chinese Little Bitter, JP Marsh Warbler, and JP Reed Bunting in Tokyo at the weekend...which should be nice. Will keep you posted...
