Galley Head Birding

January 28, 2008 - Galley tick ya bas!

A Galley tick this morning in the form of a bullfinch hopping about in a tree in the garden - first patch tick of the year (alhough I did think I had one 3 years ago but was lifting a heavy bath out of the house at the time and it wasn't a good time to let go!)  A great addition to the patch year list (65)!

hey fella. congrats on the massive patch tick that is Bullfinch. I too leapt with joy when i saw my first one in Japan. Yup, can't believe that I surpassed the 350 mark in Japan. By the lack of news from home, it looks like those trips to the islands in the summer could be a reality now...fingers crossed they are not!!!
