Today was the day for visiting CWP 95 where all the following species were seen displaying:

 

Curlew; At least 4 Redshank; 2 pairs of Shelduck; 3 Snipe; 3 Pairs of Shoveler; over 35 Lapwing; Little Egret; Meadow Pipit and 2 Skylark. (Gareth Harris, Gary Mantle).

 

With displaying Curlew and Redshank; a day to be remembered.  For those wishing to visit CWP95 the access is only along the permitted footpath leading from Fridays Ham Lane.  (Download Map

 

A House Martin was also reported flying over Keynes Country Park at 11am. (Anna Jones per Gloster Birder).
