CWP 68c/d;  2 Shelduck, Curlew, Lapwing, Heron,  1 singing Sedge Warbler,  1 singing Willow Warbler (only 1 heard),  1 singing Cettis Warbler, at least 2 Water rail calling, 2 Chiffchaff singing and a male and female Sparrowhawk. (John Wells)

 

CWP68c from Hide:  32 teal and 1 Green Sandpiper (John Wells)

 

CWP 68b:  c30 Tufted Duck, 1 Great Crested Grebe and 2 Mute Swans (John Wells)

 

CWP 81:  Red-Necked Grebe still on lake at 1500 hours today. (Bob Philpott) This bird was displaying during the day (Gareth Harris)

 

CWP 95:  Still a mixture of duck with the following maximum counts: 2 pairs of red crested pochard,  2 shelduck, 10 teal,  6+ (3 pairs) gadwall,  16 shoveler 8m/8f  (some displaying), 10+ mallard  and 20+ tufted duck.  Waders included 2 snipe, 4 curlew, 5 redshank, 9 little ringed plover (1 colour ringed) and 30+ lapwing.  Other birds reported included 1 water pipit (Nigel Pleass, Simon Ward), 3 yellow wagtail, 1 kingfisher, 1 grey heron, a little egret, 3 moorhen, black headed gulls and sand martin overhead. CWP 74:  4 Goldeney (1m and 3f), 100+ Black Headed Gull, 1 male Ruddy Duck, 6 Cormorant,  and 30+ Tufted Duck (Gareth Harris)

 

CWP 43:  8 Blackcap; 2  Great Spotted Woodpecker; Buzzard ; 2 Chiffchaff; 3 Willow warbler. (Keith Perkins)

 

CWP 29:   Oystercatcher; 11 Pied wagtail and 6 Meadow Pipit  (Keith Perkins)
