CWP 46/48 (Swillbrook Lakes - am):  2 male Nightingale, 2 male Goosander, 1 Cuckoo, 1 Sedge Warbler, 12 Willow Warbler, 7 Blackcap,  5 Chiffchaff, 1 Song Thrush,  1+ Bullfinch, 1 male Lesser Redpoll (singing in flight) and 15 Reed Bunting.  (Nick Adams)

 

CWP 8:   No sign of the red-necked grebe at 11am. (Ken Cypher)

 

 CWP 95:   What really caught the eye here were the 8 yellow wagtails on the mounds viewable from the footpath.  Close by numerous sand martin were visiting prospective nest sites.  There were at least 3 redshank, a little ringed plover and 2 little egret present along with the usual mix of duck.  Overhead a buzzard was circling.  (Ken Cypher)

 

CWP 74:  There were many black headed gull using the tern rafts, with a good number of tufted duck also present.  (Ken Cypher)

 

CWP 75  On the lake there were 2 male red crested pochard and 2 little grebe as well as the usual  coot and moorhen.  In the adjoining field, viewed from the old railway track, there were 40 Canada geese, 12 greylag and 16 grey heron.  Also seen along the track were 3 male blackcap together, jay and great spotted woodpecker(Ken Cypher)

 

CWP 68a This yielded very little from the Cleveland  Hide apart from a female goldeneye, tufted duck,11 cormorant and a kestrel hovering overhead. (Ken Cypher)

 

CWP 68c Again, it was fairly quiet, with 28 teal and a lone green sandpiper present.  Several great tit and blue tit, along with a chiffchaff, were seen from the hide.  (Ken Cypher)
