CWP 126:  Sand Martin (289 active holes -one face partially collapsed)

 

CWP 125:  Red Crested Pochard (24 males);16 great crested grebe; 10 Canada Goose; Canada Goose (2 + brood of 3); 6 Common Tern;  Oystercatcher;   male Tufted Duck  and 1 male Mallard, (Gareth Harris)

 

N.B:  After the heavy rain, the face at Claydon Pike (CWP125);has begun to partially collapse with the Sand Martins still in it. The collapse is not the result of quarry operations, it’s a result of ground water and the heavy rain.
