CWP 79:  1 Little Ringed Plover heard calling around rock crushers;  Gadwall (5M and 2F);  Red Crested Pochard (1 pair and 2 males); 11 Canada Goose;  1Ad  & 1 Juv Lapwing;   2M Reed Bunting;   2+ Males Skylark; 6 Tufted Duck  (inc 2 pairs)  and 1 male Cuckoo  (Gareth Harris)

   

CWP 95:   3 pairs Redshank;  9 pairs Lapwing;  Gadwall (5M & 3F);  1male Shoveler;  Red Crested Pochard (4M & 1F)  and 1 male Yellowhammer (Nick Adams)

 

Between CWP 6 and the canal at lunchtime:  three Garden Warblers and a Cetti's Warbler. Also two Common Terns feasting on clouds of emerging insects over the lake. (Steve Brown per Gloster Birder).
