Pits 68/59: Red Crested Pochard - female "feeding" 3 young (diving for weed and holding it while they pecked at it); Garden Warbler feeding young, Reed Warblers and Reed Buntings still singing, 4 Common Terns, Curlews heard only. Comma, 2 Red Admirals etc. Blue Tailed, Common Blue Damselflies and Banded Demoiselles, and Common Darters. Mating pair of Black Tailed Skimmers. Robin Griffiths
