CWP 57:   200+ Coot, 31 Great Crested Grebe, a leucistic male Red Crested Pochard, 5 Red Crested Pochard, 25 Tufted Duck, 2 Common Sandpiper, 38 Black Headed Gull, 12+ Common Tern. Also nearby Kingfisher, 50+ House Martins, broods of Whitethroat, Garden Warbler, Blackcap, Song Thrush and Green Woopecker.  Gareth Harris

Swillbrook meadow (to the south of lake 58): large numbers of butterflies (Marbled White, Meadow Brown, Ringlet, Gatekeeper etc) and Dragonflies (Emperor, Brown Hawker, Black Tailed Skimmer, Common Blue Damselfly, Common Darter etc) feeding in meadow: worth a look for the impressive numbers feeding in the sunshine!  Gareth Harris
