Here we go again Blithefield week 7, yes you guessed it, the Osprey was seen again today but not by us!!! Still it wasn't too bad a morning we saw some good birds. There was a flock of around 50 Ringed Plover in Blithe Bay about 7 Dunlin were with them also there were 2 Snipe and a Kingfisher perched about a hundred yards away, I did take a picture of it through the telescope but its still just a blurred dot in the centre of the picture.

We then walked round the point to Tad Bay we came across a mixed Tit flock in the wood, there were Long Tailed Tits, Great Tits, Blue Tits, Chiff Chaff and aTreecreeper present in the flock.

In Tad Bay there was a Redshank, 2 Greenshanks and a Ruff. Now this is where my Dude status comes in, there was also another wader there which we had difficulty in identifying, I thought it was a Sanderling, there were several Birders there who couldn't come up with anything better. Its nice to know that there are other Dudes around as well as me.

One Bird I haven't mentioned at Blithefield which has been present for the past few weeks is Barnacle Geese thats because they are Feral and not a natural wild flock.
