After a couple of weeks of dreadful weather, it was nice to get out and do some birding in blue skies and sunshine.
Down at Moody Brook a large number of Turkey Vultures including tagged no 35 were in the large Cypress tree with a few sunbathing.

At Surf Bay a male Red Backed Hawk was hunting over the sand grass.

At Stanley airport the Two Banded Plover flock is now numbered about a hundred birds with a few White Rumped Sandpipers & Rufous Chested Dotterel in amongst them.
