Now that the tourist season is over in the Falkland Islands I will again start visiting Gypsy Cove on a regular basis.

This morning I went there and had the cove to myself for a couple of hours, all the Magellanic Penguins have gone but there were lots of small birds about including a large flock of 30+ Black Chinned Siskin. Also in the cove were 2 Dark Faced Ground Tyrants, 5 Long Tailed Meadowlarks, 4 Falkland Thrush, a pair of White Bridled Finch (Formally called Black Throated Finch) & 6 Grass Wrens.

I like the tourist season at the cove. There is a nice cafe which is cunningly disguised as a bus. A nice set of toilets and not forgetting some cuddly black and white penguins.

Good entries mate, keep em coming
