The weather this morning was bright sunshine and very little wind, so we decided that we would go for a walk from Gypsy Cove around to Hadassa Bay near the entrance to Stanley Harbour.
There were not many birds about apart from a few Falkland Thrush, Long Tailed Meadowlark, Dark Faced Ground Tyrant, White Bridled Finch and a couple of Grass Wrens. Sitting on the rocks was an adult male Red Backed Hawk.

In the Tussac Grass we came across three female Southern Sea Lions that seemed as scared of seeing us, as my daughter Lucianne was of seeing them. They bolted down to the sea and them spent the next 10 minutes playing and chasing each other in the Kelp.
