There has been lots more reports of South American Fur Seals Arctocephalus australis in the last few days and also another sighting of a Weddell Seal Leptonychotes weddellii this time on Saunders Island. So this afternoon I went out looking on the beaches near Stanley and found an Antarctic Fur Seal  Arctocephalus gazelle on a small rocky beach at the East end of Surf Bay.
