On Saturday I was out at Goose Green birding around a few of the sites I think will be worth checking on a regular basis.

At the reservoir there were 20 Chiloe Wigeon, 10 Silver Teal, 6 Speckled Teal & 6 Crested Duck.

At a small compound of European gorse, with a few conifer trees in it, there were a few Falkland Thrush, Dark Faced Ground Tyrant, White Bridled Finch, Black Chinned Siskin and a couple of Long Tailed Meadowlark calling.

At Burnside there was a pair of Southern Caracara nest building, other birds there were Falkland Pipit, Falkland Thrush, Dark Faced Ground Tyrant, House Sparrow & Peregrine Falcon.

On some of the larger ponds around the area I saw 2 pairs of Flying Steamer Duck, Silver Teal, Speckled Teal, Yellow Billed Pintail, Silvery Grebe & White Tufted Grebe.
