I went out this evening to have a look around the ponds on Cape Pembroke and at Yorke Bay.
Not much on the ponds at Cape Pembroke but found a superb Lesser Yellowlegs on Yorke Bay pond. Made a few calls to local birders and 10 minutes later Mick and another couple of birders were enjoying the bird.

Lesser Yellowlegs are rare vagrants in the Falkland Islands with one or two birds seen each year, Last year being the exception to the rule with possibly 6+ Birds seen. |
