I went down to Yorke Bay pond this evening to take some more images of the Lesser Yellowlegs in the evening sunshine.

At first the bird was on the grass quite a distance from the waters edge, but soon flew towards me and landed within 10mtrs of where I was sitting.

I left the bird happily feeding in the fading light.
