Birding in the Falkland Islands

• Thursday, January 11, 2007 - 10th January 2007

Went down to Gypsy Cove this evening to have a look at the Magellanic Penguins. Lots of birds on the beach at Yorke Bay.

Many birds on Gypsy Cove beach as well including some calling.

Lots of Black Chinned Siskin, Grass Wren, Black Throated Finches and Falkland Thrushes about all busy feeding & raising their young.
