Birding in the Falkland Islands

• Monday, March 5, 2007 - 12th February 2007

Picked up Mark from MPA and headed out top Kelp Point, got to Kelp Point but no sign of the Wilson's Phalarope, where as yesterday was flat carm and sunny today its blowing 35knots and raining.

Quick look at the beach to see the Hudsonian Godwits but no sign of them either so we carry on down to Whale Point about half a mile along the coast where we find 12 Hudsonian Godwits on the rotten Kelp on the beach.
