Birding in the Falkland Islands

~

Went to Cape Pemroke Lighthouse this evening, lots of Grass Wrens about on the boulder beach on the North side. I counted at least 12 different birds

Also a couple of Tussuc birds feeding on the rotten kelp, theses are normally only found on rat and cat free islands,.

But the best bird of the evening went to a Peregrine Falcon that had just come back from hunting Prion's out at sea.

Quite a few Sooty Shearwaters and Black Browed Albatross settled on the water off the point.
