Birding in the Falkland Islands

• Monday, July 30, 2007 - Cinnamon Teal

Went to see a Cinnamon Teal that has been report about 25 miles from Stanley over the last few days, got there to see that it was an adult male. It is with a large group of Speckled Teal

Cinnamon Teal are scare visitors to the Falkland Islands with no confirmed breeding records.

This male spent lots of time displaying to a female Speckled Teal while I was watching it.
