Birding in the Falkland Islands

• Saturday, August 25, 2007 - Cinnamon Teal revisited

Went out to the Fitzroy river today to see if the male Cinnamon Teal was still about, soon found it in with the Speckled Teal.

Sat down by the river and after about half an hour the flock slowley came up close

                              The teal flock got very close as you can see from the two pictures above.

Just goes to show that wild ducks can be very tame.

The sight looks good, comes up easy with most search engines. Shame I know you were meant to be at work while you were doing all this. The pics look great and down load quick. Oh and I am in the Caribean which means I don't care if its spring at home. I went snorkling with fish etc this morning!!
