Birding in the Falkland Islands

• Sunday, November 11, 2007 - 5 possible 8 Baird's sandpipers

This morning around Yorke Bay pond area there were at least 5 but possibly 8 Baird’s Sandpiper.

I could see a group of three and a group of 2 all at the same time and then when I was walking about 100 yards further along the marshy area came across another 3 that I am sure were different from the first group.
