Went out for a bit of birding this afternoon along the rocky shore near Hookers Point (Named after the naturalist Hooker). A few birds about including both Magellanic Oystercatcher & Blackish Oystercatchers also Black Crowned Night Heron, Falkland Steamer Duck, Crested Duck, King Cormorant & Rock Shag.

Other birds seen included Grass Wren, Long Tailed Meadowlark, Black Chinned Siskin, Black Throated Finch, Falkland Thrush & Dark Faced Ground Tyrant.
