Had a look around Yorke Bay pond this morning, weather was brilliant blue skies with no wind. At the pond the resident pair of White Tufted Grebe has built a nest at the edge in a clump of Arrow Leafed Marigolds. Also on the pond there were a pair of Flying Steamer Ducks, 1 Crested Duck & 3 Speckled Teal.
Lots of Rufous Chested Dotterels, Two Banded Plover, White Rumped Sandpiper & a pair of Magellanic Snipe in the marshes around the pond.
In the White Grass & Diddle Dee a few pairs of Falkland Pipits and Black Throated Finches were feeding.
