Okay lets get 2008 of to a start. We found ourselves having a quick walk around Pugneys Country Park with the masses. We did however manage to pick up on a few good birds. Male Red Crested Pochard, about a dozen Siskins, Kingfisher and Great Spotted Woodpecker. In the reeds once again playing hide and seek was the over wintering Bittern. A cold and drizzly day giving a slow start to 2008.
