9th Feb - Teardrop lakes

Woke around 12 today (no not being lazy I was working all night) to a bright and sunny day!! feels like forever since it was this bright. So decided to take a trip to Teardrop lakes in Milton Keynes (in truth this is because it is a 10 minute walk from my house) and see what new birds I could add to this list.

It all started quite well with a Pied wagtail showing well (means I can now add a shot), followed by a new photo for the year in Long-tailed tit. Not much else around but did manage some great shots of a female Great spotted woodpecker. (I will have to add the photos at a later date, really shouldn't update this Blog at work).
