Birding on the west coast of Sweden

Friday, May 18, 2007 - No rain as of yet

Today will hopefully be a good birding day. I plan on going to not only one but two locations, one of which I have never visited before. Corn crake, nesting tawny owl, red backed shrike are possible. Maybe even quail.

I also need to get hold of someone who can give me a ride down to Halland to see the iberian chiffchaff which has been visiting for two weeks now.

About Me

26 year old birder from Gothenburg, Sweden. My goal for 2007 was get above 200 life-ticks. I managed 215 and the goal for 2008 was to get to 250. Right now it looks like I might get to 250 year ticks which is of course even better.
