Saturday, May 19, 2007 - Working up expectations again
Probably going to Brudarebacken tomorrow. It's an old city dump reconstructed into a skiing slope with outstanding view of most of the city and beyond. Saw three ring ouzels there once when they were moving north. Hopefully the resident corn crake will be 'singing' tomorrow. There has been at least one corn crake there every year since 2003 or so. Red backed shrike, goldfinch and bluethroat are also possible. But we'll se about that tomorrow.
I'm starting to wonder wether anyone is reading this blog yet. Please do leave a comment!

| I do take some photos for documentation, but due to scope-camera incompatibility they look like crap. The eyepiece construction causes a few millimeters gap between scope lens and camera lens, thus causing a lot of blur. I recently bought an old Minolta SLR with a 500 mm lens though, and have been trying it out but not developed any films yet. |

About Me
26 year old birder from Gothenburg, Sweden.
My goal for 2007 was get above 200 life-ticks. I managed 215 and the goal for 2008 was to get to 250. Right now it looks like I might get to 250 year ticks which is of course even better.
