Monday, May 21, 2007 - The quest for the penduline tit
After I came home from brudarebacken yesterday I saw a report of male penduline tit by the river not far away from my home. Since it was dark outside by then I waited until this morning. A brisk bike ride in the rain later I arrived at the reported location and searched for well over an hour. The little bugger was nowhere to be seen. There is of course plenty of river bank for him to hang around on, but I suspect that it was the rain most of all that kept him hidden.
Nice observations of chiffchaff, willow warbler, common whitethroat, garden warbler, robin, goldeneye, thrush nightingale and blackcap and pheasant though.

About Me
26 year old birder from Gothenburg, Sweden.
My goal for 2007 was get above 200 life-ticks. I managed 215 and the goal for 2008 was to get to 250. Right now it looks like I might get to 250 year ticks which is of course even better.
