Birding on the west coast of Sweden

Monday, May 21, 2007 - Penduline tit still

The Penduline tit is still there. Several people have reported it today and even photographed it. Since I now know where to go, I can get up even earlier and search harder :)

Also, planning to go to Ytterby to see the Nightingale if it's still there.

And keep the comments coming please :)

listen out for their call - often the first clue - high pitched "see" - google it and i'm sure there's an mp3 of it out there

Yes, this page http://www.fuglar.no//galleri/lyder.php for example has got a fat load of bird sounds. The page is in Norwegian, but all latin names are listed too.

About Me

26 year old birder from Gothenburg, Sweden. My goal for 2007 was get above 200 life-ticks. I managed 215 and the goal for 2008 was to get to 250. Right now it looks like I might get to 250 year ticks which is of course even better.
