Birding on the west coast of Sweden

Friday, May 25, 2007 - Rosefinches coming up

Posted in Local watching
The first Rosefinch in the area has been reported this morning, not very far from the Penduline Tit. I'm feeling lazy today though, so I don't know if I can be bothered to go there. The ride home is always so boring after a dip :)

Migration here has been very strange this year, due to very warm weather. The Garden Warbler for example started coming here third week in April, when it's supposed to come second-third week in May.

About Me

26 year old birder from Gothenburg, Sweden. My goal for 2007 was get above 200 life-ticks. I managed 215 and the goal for 2008 was to get to 250. Right now it looks like I might get to 250 year ticks which is of course even better.
