Birding on the west coast of Sweden

Thursday, June 21, 2007 - Work ticks

Posted in Local watching
As I'm working in summer daycare for 6-12 year olds, so until July 6, there will be very few spontaneous birding trips...

At least I've gotten new work ticks this week, Blackcap on monday and Hawfinch yesterday (wednesday). Also planted a seed of interest in birds to some of the kids at work. They worked quite energetically for a while with drawings of Oystercatcher :)

Going to the countryside for midsummer. Hoping for Quail and Nightjar there, since I can't seem to get hold of a ride to Quail and Nightjar-grounds in the city :)

About Me

26 year old birder from Gothenburg, Sweden. My goal for 2007 was get above 200 life-ticks. I managed 215 and the goal for 2008 was to get to 250. Right now it looks like I might get to 250 year ticks which is of course even better.
