Knowsley Safari Park

1 Short-eared Owl was being swooped at by crows and magpies on the 4x4 course [Ranch] until 0900hrs when it had had enough and got up and flew south-east harried by crows, gulls and a Peregrine !

1 Peregrine Falcon

1 Jack Snipe along the stream at the west end of the 4x4 course

1 Water Rail along the same stream

Crossbills calling from Stand Wood, part of the private Knowsley Hall Estate

2 Bramblings [pr] with Lesser Redpolls, Goldfinches and Greenfinches around the tip

1 Yellowhammer over Ranch

11 Pied Wagtails in field west of Mizzy Lake
